You might have experienced slow internet service lately…

March 27th, 2007

Hello
Many of you will, as we are, have experienced very poor internet connectivity lately.
This is especially the case with international sites such as www.booksure.com.
If you try and access any international site you will experience the same poor service.
There is as usual only one entity to blame for this, Telkom.
We only have one internet pipe going out of South Africa which is controlled by Telkom. Slow or unreliable internt speeds are becoming a norm when dealing with this monopolistic giant.
This poor service is effecting the productivity and effectivity of many companies in South Africa.
There is a lot of change happening right now with the current price war between the cellular networks, the immanent arrival of a competitor in Neotel (http://www.neotel.co.za) and the increased number of service providers.
These are exciting times for us South African internet users.
I ask you to please be patient as there is nothing we can do but I am very hopeful that things will change sooner rather than later.
Regards
Lee

March 27th, 2007

Hi All
I am very proud to announce that the new Booksure site is up and running.
There are still a few tweaks I need to make behind the scenes but otherwise its pretty much complete.
We are all much happier with the look and feel of the new site and feel that the flow of information is much better.
Feel free to make any comments…

For those of you who are following these Blogs you will be the first to know that a new Booksure site will be emerging very shortly. I am in the final stages of completing the site and after a final check it should be ready to go some time next week.
We are all very excited to see the impact of the new site and would love your feedback once it is up.

Until then…
